Tomorrow morning, the second book in the Razor trilogy – Love’s Storm – will be released. None of this work happens in a vacuum – this time, not even the writing. I would be so remiss if I didn’t take a few minutes to thank some people who have been instrumental in getting not just the second book, but the entire series, to market.
Jean Marie Stine, Publisher, Sizzler Editions. You took a chance on the first book. You came back without hesitation and asked for the second, and didn’t blink an eyelash when we said there’d be at least three. Your unbridled enthusiasm really inspired K.B. Cutter and I. The revisions to the cover art, a re-release, video trailers, blog tours, radio interviews, and just plain cheering out loud for us has meant so much. And there were a few other niceties you sent our way without asking that we won’t mention here. The bottom line, Jean Marie, is that none of my publishers has ever gone to such great lengths to support me. Your blind faith in a risky concept (polyamory) and great business sense is something I will never forget.
Sascha Illyvich, editor and friend. You’re a font of business information and career guidance. I always appreciate and enjoy our long conversations, and the honest opinion you always give. You’re someone I never would have envisioned becoming friends with, but here we are. I’m still never getting within 20 feet of that bull whip.
My polyamorous beta readers remain nameless to respect their privacy. Thank you for letting us into your world, and providing insights that let KB and I build a credible story.
Our readers and friends. Your enthusiasm for the second book makes me grin like a kid on Christmas morning. We hope you love this book, and take full advantage of the Razor Romances Booty contest, which starts tomorrow. We are looking forward to giving away some really terrific prizes.
Last, but not least, K.B. Cutter, my co-author and best friend. What a ride. The second book pushed both of us to learn, dig, create, imagine. It was a blast. I’m so looking forward to the third book. Could we skip the hurricanes, snowstorms, flu, and other stuff that was nothing but a royal pain in the rear? My favorite memory of writing with you is listening to you read in that sexy bedroom husky voice of yours and stammer over the naughty words. Thanks for being a gentleman.
Watch for the posts tomorrow here, and on Facebook and Twitter to let you know all the fun places we’re going to be over the next few weeks. We have knocked ourselves out writing fun and different blogs to entertain you. And please try to win the great prizes we’re giving away.
